(02) What we collect

When you sign up: your email address.

When you visit: technical data your browser sends automatically, such as your IP address, browser type and the time of your visit. Our hosting provider stores this in server logs.

(03) Why we use it

We use your email address only to tell you when our website launches and, as long as you stay subscribed, to send you news from Deadpan Studio. We do this because you asked us to by signing up (your consent).

We use server logs only to run the website securely and fix technical problems.

We never sell your data.

(04) Who else processes it

Our website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (USA), which also stores the email addresses submitted through our sign-up form. Netlify processes this data on our behalf. Data transferred to the USA is protected by standard contractual clauses.

(05) How long we keep it

Your email address: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Server logs: only as long as our hosting provider needs them for security and operation.

(06) Cookies and tracking

This website uses no tracking or advertising cookies.

(07) Your rights

You can ask us at any time what data we hold about you, and have it corrected or deleted. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email, or by writing to hello@deadpan.ai.

If you think we're handling your data wrongly, you can complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, if you live in the EU, to your local data protection authority.

(08) Changes

We may update this policy when our website or services change. The current version is always on this page.
